Morning of Kindness Tips and Tricks

  • Get others involved: your coworkers, your family, your neighbors, your PTA, your scouting troop! Host a "diaper drive" for Hope House, or "Birthday Party Bash" collecting cake mixes for the Food Pantry of the Capital District.

  • If you have children, involve them in the collection of items. Talk to them about who you're helping, how you're helping and why it is important to be a helper.

  • Bring snacks and water. Stable blood sugar levels help EVERYONE more fully enjoy the Morning of Kindness.

  • Share your photos of the day on social media. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook - tag @morningofkindness or use the hashtag #MOK2021

  • Have some downtime in between stops? Consider tossing in some Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs)!
