  • Northern Rivers, Albany: Donations of items for Christmas Stockings for 150 teenagers living in a residential program.

  • St. Paul’s, Rensselaer: Donations of items for people experiencing homelessness who are guests of St. Paul’s shelter.

  • Village of Colonie Outreach Center, Colonie: donate items, station to make cards for soldiers and people in nursing homes, free coffee, hot chocolate and snacks.

8:30am

  • St. Paul’s, Rensselaer: Cook and serve breakfast to shelter guests (all supplies/ingredients will be provided by staff of St. Paul’s)

9am to 10am

  • Capital City Rescue Mission, Albany: Donations of items to support people experiencing homelessness.

  • Hope House: donate items from their wishlist to support women and children residing in their “halfway house” where women ages 18 and up can recover from addiction. Additionally - this year there are 17 children who live in Hope House either full or part time - if you would like to help with Christmas presents for these children, please sign up here.

  • Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, Albany: Donation of items to support people experiencing homelessness. Donation of trays of pasta/lasagna/ziti/stuffed shells, or salad to support their Christmas Eve meals.

  • Albany County Nursing Home, Albany: Singing holiday carols to residents of the nursing home (60% of nursing home residents NEVER receive a single visitor!). You are encouraged to bring holiday cards (homemade or otherwise) to hand out to residents.

11am to Noon
